Do you listen to Podcasts? I am a podcast junkie. Like many things in my life, my taste in this entertainment is kind of eclectic. I listen to fiber craft related ones like The Knitmore Girls, The Knit Knit Cafe, and The Savvy Girls. I also like The New Yorker Fiction, and This American Life. But I admit, Tim and Tom from The Complete Guide to Everything often have me grinning ear to ear while I clean out the garage or do some other mundane task. It doesn't hurt that I share an interest in Tim and Tom with my 20 something son. It's nice to have something we connect on.

Mah Jong ....

I am obsessed with Mah Jong these days. Well, that is in between looking for a serious job, doing taxes and hanging out with some new friends. I was lucky enough to be invited to a beginners game and really liked it. In the last week I have ordered a set of tiles, won an auction on Ebay for a vintage set and read a book from cover to cover on the subject. My tile set is 'out for delivery' today and I keep checking the UPS website to see of the status has changed.

 I have a jam packed schedule the next two days, which includes important meetings for this job search thing, and I'm finding all I can think of is bams, cracks and dots and wondering when my 2013 cards will arrive .... wait ... was that the dog barking? Is there someone at the door? Maybe the UPS guys in his cute brown uniform?
